What is EverPine Albums’ design philosophy?
Our design service embracing a minimalist style that stands the test of time. Through our experience, we’ve learned that simple layouts, enhanced with ample negative space, beautifully highlight your images and perfectly complement our album collections. This defines the core of our design philosophy.
The cost
The initial design fee starts at $40 for 60 images, with an additional $5 for every 10 images. This includes 2 round(s) of revisions. Any further revisions will incur a fee of $15 per revision.
How should I prepare my images?
Use sRGB for editing and export the files as high-resolution JPGs at 300 DPI. At 300 DPI, each 300 pixels corresponds to 1 inch of printed photo. For example, if Photo A has dimensions of 4500×3000 pixels at 300 DPI, its optimal print size would be 15×10 inches or smaller. When arranging the layout, please make sure that the printed size of Photo A on the paper is no larger than 15×10 inches. If it exceeds this size, the print may lose sharpness or even show pixelation.
For detailed guidance on preparing your images, visit Help > FAQ > Craftsmanship Guarantee > Prepare Your Image.
Where should I upload my images?
Before placing an ‘EverPine Albums Design Service’ order, please save your images as high-resolution JPGs in the sRGB color space and upload them to a file-sharing platform such as Pixieset or SmugMug. Once uploaded, provide us with the shareable link and password, and include it in your order form so we can download the files.
How do I sequence the photos?
To ensure a seamless workflow, please organize your photo files with numbered filenames. This allows for precise image sequencing and avoids delays in processing. If no special instructions are provided, we will generally arrange the photos based on the filename order. For events with a clear flow, we will roughly follow the chronological order of events. For example, for weddings, our sequence typically includes getting ready, first look, ceremony, and reception. If you have specific placement requests for certain photos, please indicate them in “Additional Instructions” (using the filenames to identify the specific photos). If your album requires a cameo photo, please rename the file to “Cameo”.
How many photos should I submit for an album?
We recommend 3 images average per spread. For example, if you are ordering a 15-spread album, we suggest uploading around 45 photos. We will design the layout based on a minimalist aesthetic, which means that sometimes we may place only one photo on a page or even across a spread. Other times, we may include 2–3 photos on a page (typically no more than 4 per page). If you have specific requests for the layout of a particular photo or group of photos, please clearly indicate them in the order form. Please note that in the first draft of the layout, we will include all the photos you submit. Therefore, be sure not to upload any photos you do not want included in the album.
What is the turnaround time?
The initial layout will take 1 business day. After receiving your revision requests, each adjustment will take 1 business day.
How can I preview and download the layout? Can my clients preview it through this platform?
We will upload the layout to Google Drive, where you can preview it, add revision comments, and download the file. Of course, your clients can also preview it through this platform and leave comments. All EverPine Albums branding will be hidden.
